NOW ON TO SOME MORE CRAFTING...
I had a wedding to attend recently so I made up this card for the happy couple. I decided to try and incorporate the couples' wedding colors which where yellow and steal grey. Wedding colors are so different now a days, but I really like the new direction wedding decor had taken lately. It's so fun and creative ! This is one of my favorite cuts for the Tie the Knot cartridge and I decided to stray from the normal A2 size and size up the card at 5 inches square. I have the Martha Stewart Score Board, so it was a cinch to make up a classy matching envelope :) Hope you like it :)

  2. Very nice Alex! Good choice of colours!I have made a birthdaycard for my oldest and dearest friend, she is English but is living in America now. We are friends for 28 years now and we both love cats!! So in the style of the poodle card I made earlier I made her a pussycat card. If you want to see it, you know the way :)

  7. Hi Alex!

Thanks you so much for your sweet comment! It made me smile.

To answer your question about inking. Yes, I do ink the edges of everything. No matter how small. :) I like how it helps to define the cut or even the base paper. I have to do it now, or I feel like whatever I am working on is unfinished.

I LOVE your card! You should enter it at the Cricut Cardz Challenge blog. This weeks challenge is Wedding theme. You never know you might win the giveaway. is the last day to enter. :)

I agree with you about wedding colors. :) I went to a wedding two weeks ago and the colors were orange and grey. Believe it or not, they pulled it off and it was gorgeous.

Of course I have your button on my blog! Your blog is one of my favorites. :) I hope you have a wonderful day!

  8. I love the fact that you made a card with the couple's wedding colors. I got married last summer and I loved seeing our colors (blue and green).

Thanks for visiting my blog. I created a post to answer your question: http://cricutinkansas.blogspot.com/2010/06/reader-question-ebay.html
