Here's a quick "thank you" project that I whipped up last minute for my friends and neighbors down the street. It literally took me 15 minutes to make. I new I already had some yummy home baked cookies on hand, that I baked that morning. I just need a cute vessel to carry them in. This is probably one of my favorite things about PSA stamps. In no time, you can have a quick card, gift bag etc done with a few punches and their fun designs!
This was my first time making a paper rosette. I think it's a little big, but oh well :)
The stamp is a custom design PSA made up for me.

Surfing on the Brain

~ Hello There ~
I know, I know, another surfing card! I have my reasons, I promise! Here in sunny CA, it actually hasn't been as sunny as we're used for this time of year. But, this past weekend it was SO NICE and warm, everyone was busting about their sundresses, shorts and flip flops! I loved it! It will be so nice when it's warm enough to sit at the beach and maybe even watch my son surf. He usually doesn't ask his parentals to go with him, since he's 21 and all, but maybe we can sneak a peak and he won't even know we are there :)
The snoopy stamps is from PSA's Cowabunga Set and I just love my PSA custom stamp for the back of my cards!

Hang Ten Snoopy

~ Happy Tuesday Everyone ~
I hope everyone is having a great week so far. Today I wanted to share a card I made "totally by hand", no cricut! I know, GASP! But as they say, neccessity is the mother of invention. I wanted to make a surf board shaped card, but I couldn't find any cuts that where "fat" enough to be the right size for a greeting card, so I grabbed the ole' scissors and pencil, drew a surfboard and cut it out! It actually was really nice to feel the scissors do the work for me in my hands. No worries though, I won't be giving up my cricut anytime soon...this was probably just a one time trick.
The cute little stamp is from PSA Essentials "Cowabunga" Set .
Gotta love Snoppy! PSA has a bunch of cute Snoppy stamps sets as well as many others.
Here are just a couple.

PJ's, Parfees and Projects Ustream Recap

If you are looking for the " Queens Royal Blog Hop" Click Here.

Happy Monday Everyone!

Whew! So can you believe that the weekend is already over? Ruthie and I had so much fun Friday night! If you joined us, we want to say a HUGE THANK YOU! If you weren't able to, don't fret... we recorded it! You can watch it HERE.

So as we promised below are photos and information for all the projects that we made.

Our 1st project was this bird house box.
Adorable no?
The roof comes off so you can put something inside!
We purchased the Spring Bird Houses SVG file from SVG.com, you can see it here. Papers are from Cosmo Cricket and Core-dinations.
The bird's sweet little face is from PKS set, PK-754 Critter Faces SET A Medium.

Here is a picture of the birdhouse we made during the Ustream.

Our 2nd project was a Sliding Pop Up Card. Kim, has several wonderful tutorials, showing how to make this super fun card on her blog.

Here a view of the flat card.

Here is a view of it "popped" up.
The bunny was cut at 3.25" from the Birthday Bash cart and the grass was cut from the Create a Critter cart. The bunny's face is from PKS's new release set called PK-441 Cute and Cuddly.  The "Hoppy Easter" sentiment stamp is from here.

The 3rd Project are these FABU Paper Flowers! I know what you're thinking...paper flowers? Boring! I made those in highschool! But we promise, using heavier weight napkins- from Ikea - makes all the difference! They look like fabric and are OH SO Martha! How cool would it be to make them for your next bridal, baby shower or even wedding decor! We decided this elegant and fun door hanger would make a great addition to Alex's craft room door!
Ooo-La -la...don't ya just love it?

I found the idea on Dana's Blog. Thanks Dana :)

The 4th and final project we shared was inspired by Holly's Blog. Aren't these little post it not key chains the CUTEST! We decide to change up the size and use a decorative button and baker's twine, LOVE IT! Can't wait to use it! Check out Holly's Blog for the awesome tutorial! Thanks Holly!
Ruthie and I want to say a huge THANK YOU!

We are so thankful for you, our followers, that we are each giving away a set of Peachy Keen Stamps, new release stamps.

PK-441 Cute and Cuddly 1 1/8"

All you have to do is:

1. Make sure you are a follower, if not already.
2. Leave a comment under this post.
3. Click HERE to go to Ruthie's blog to leave a comment for a 2nd chance to win!

Ruthie and I will both pick our winners Wednesday night and announce them in our Thursday posts.

Gotta Have Friends Blog Hop

~ Hello Everyone ~
Welcome to my BLOG-AVERSARY HOP and LINKING PARTY! WOO HOO !! I'm so excited you're here to join the party!

This blog hop is all about BLOGGING FRIENDS, the dear ones we've made and the new ones we'd love to make! Making FRIENDS has been the best part of blogging for me, I've literally made 100's of FRIENDS since starting my blog a year ago and I TRULY APPRECIATE everyone of you!

So let's get this PARTY started....

I've been wanting to make something like this for some time now, and I thought today's hop would be the perfect opportunity.
BEFORE...
and AFTER...
TADA!
Here's how I put it together...
Trace and cut out your designer paper to fit your wood piece. It doesn't have to be perfect, you will sand the edges down later.
Paint your wood piece to coordinate with your designer paper.
Lay an even coat of Mod Podge on the wood and carefully position your paper on the wood. Smooth out any wrinkles. VERY IMPORTANT: Do NOT apply a top coat of Mod Podge if your paper is very thin, like mine. It will wrinkle ALOT! If you must have top coat, wait until your piece is completely dry or better yet, do a test piece. Cardstock should be ok.

Once dry, sand down any edges so the paper is flush with your wood for a nice clean edge.

Do a dry run of how you want to position your vinyl. I cut the words a part a pit to better fit and center my plaque.

Mark and drill the holes.
Apply your vinyl saying, then attach your knobs!
Wouldn't this make a great gift for a friend ? It would be great to hang in a bedroom, walk in closet or dressing area and used to store necklaces, scarfs, etc.
SUPPLIES USED :
EAD Designs "Friends Vinyl Sayings"
Pre-Cut Wood Plaque from Joann’s
Cream Acrylic Paint
Any Patterned Paper
Mod Podge- matte
Craft Brushes
3 Cabinet Knobs
Hope you liked it ! Now unto some BLOG CANDY!
How about  THREE !!!
